In recent years, however, traditional families have come under assault from many quarters—including no-fault divorce, so-called “same-sex marriage,” cohabitation, surrogacy, sexual promiscuity, and pornography.
Thankfully, Sen. Ben Toews (R-Coeur d’Alene) and Rep. Joe Alfieri (R-Coeur d’Alene) have introduced House Concurrent Resolution 35, which would designate the period between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day as “Traditional Families Month.”
The resolution passed the House of Representatives on a party-line vote. But now the resolution is facing headwinds in the Senate State Affairs Committee—and we need your help to get the bill back on track!
