ALERT: Bring the Bible Back to Public Schools!
The School-Sponsored Bible Reading Act (House Bill 162) would create a statewide policy restoring daily Bible reading – without comment or interpretation by teachers – to public schools across our state.
Schools would provide reasonable accommodations to teachers and students with conscience objections. Furthermore, this legislation has been carefully crafted so that it would not open the door to other religious texts, like the Quran or Satanic Bible, being read to students.
It’s simple: Our society has suffered since the Bible was taken out of public schools by activist courts in the early 1960s. Our children and communities are starved for the biblical values that once made our nation great—and to put it simply, our nation cannot survive or flourish without God.
Let’s bring God back into public school education! Send your message asking members of the House Education Committee to support the School-Sponsored Bible Reading Act.
