BOISE, IDAHO – Earlier this week, a Idaho Family Policy Center “BOYS ARE BOYS AND GIRLS ARE GIRLS” billboard was spotted and went viral on X and Instagram.
Conservative influencer Ryan Fournier posted a photo of the billboard with caption: “The fact we must print this and post it on a billboard is beyond insane. Remember when this wasn’t a thing? Life was GREAT when we didn’t have maniacs shoving this stuff down our throats. Do what you want with your body… pretend to be a unicorn or even a potato… I don’t care. But don’t bring me into it, and don’t expect me to glorify your fantasies.”
The “BOYS ARE BOYS AND GIRLS ARE GIRLS” billboard is part of a major statewide campaign launched earlier this year by Idaho Family Policy Center to give our conservative Christian values the visibility they deserve.
So far, Idaho Family Policy Center has placed twelve billboards in the Treasure Valley and Coeur d’Alene-area, featuring the following bold messages:
- ALL PREBORN LIVES MATTER
- P**N DOES NOT BELONG IN SCHOOLS AND LIBRARIES
- PARENTS DIRECT THEIR CHILDREN’S EDUCATION
- BOYS ARE BOYS AND GIRLS ARE GIRLS
- DRAG SHOWS ARE SEXUAL EXHIBITIONS
- MARRIAGE IS BETWEEN ONE MAN AND ONE WOMAN
- ABORTION IS NOT HEALTHCARE
- BIBLICAL VALUES ARE IDAHO VALUES
Idaho Family Policy Center plans to continue the billboard campaign into mid-2024 by adding an additional ten billboards in Moscow, Lewiston, Idaho Falls, and Twin Falls.
A statement from Blaine Conzatti, President of Idaho Family Policy Center:
Last year, Planned Parenthood invested hundreds of thousands of dollars into a statewide billboard campaign encouraging mothers to cross state lines for elective abortions that are illegal here in Idaho.
In response, Idaho Family Policy Center is coming out swinging to declare truth and righteousness.
For too long, we’ve felt like our voices are being drowned out. Now it’s time to take our winning message to the streets—and I mean that literally.
I truly believe that these self-evident messages will resonate with everyday Idahoans. In this cultural moment, the silent majority can no longer remain silent—the stakes are just too high.
We cannot and will not bury our heads in the sand. After all, the battle is the Lord’s—and as the days grow darker, God’s people must choose to shine the light of Jesus brighter and bolder.
