Israel has worked in the oil and gas, retail, and real estate development industries over the past 27 years. In addition to serving as an elder in his church and as a board member for New Saint Andrews College, Israel is also co-founder and owner of Taurex Drill Bits, Riptide Energy Solutions, GIS Holdings, and Copium Investments. He and his wife Susan have been married for 28 years, and they have seven children and five grandchildren.
