URGENT: Ask your state senator to support Idaho Heartbeat Bill

Friends,

Our legislation to add a private enforcement mechanism to the Idaho Heartbeat Law will be on the Senate floor for a full vote sometime next week.

While we’re grateful that it passed out of the Senate State Affairs Committee yesterday with a “do pass recommendation,” we have begun encountering heightened opposition, and we need your help.

Senate Bill 1309 would make the Heartbeat Law signed last year by Gov. Brad Little enforceable by allowing family members of an unlawfully aborted preborn baby to sue the abortionist who committed the crime.

With this legislation, we finally have an opportunity to end most abortions in the state. Based on the numbers coming out of Texas since they passed a similar law, we expect that this legislation would reduce our abortion rate significantly and save nearly 1,000 preborn babies annually.

Since this is a spiritual battle, we shouldn’t be surprised that we are encountering so many unexpected difficulties, both in public and behind the scenes. After all, we are warring not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and spiritual powers. Even still, King Jesus is in control.

That being said, we need your help to get this bill through the Senate. Click here to send a message to your state senator, asking him or her to vote to protect preborn babies with beating hearts!

Again, SB1309 may be on the Senate floor any day now, so please send your message right away! In the meantime, please continue to be in prayer, having confidence by faith that God listens and comes near to us when we present our requests to him.

Standing for life,

Blaine Conzatti

Executive Director
