You know by now that Idaho is facing the most extreme abortion ballot initiative of this election cycle, and the fight is heating up.
Throughout the week, we’ve heard reports of “Stop Prop 1” campaign signs disappearing across Idaho. But the pro-abortion radicals didn’t stop at stealing yard signs.
They’ve now turned to vandalism.
Abortion extremists targeted the house of Theo Wold a couple days back. Wold is the former Idaho solicitor general and current senior advisor at the IFPC Legal Center.
The vandals spray-painted his large “No on Prop 1” sign. They also stole some of his smaller signs and egged both his house and car.
As Theo explained: “The abortion cult is a violent hate group that can’t tolerate dissent. But no amount of mob tactics will stop me from advancing the cause of life in Idaho.”
In talking to Theo these last couple days, I’ve been reminded that standing for truth comes at a cost. Our Founders pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor. Tens of thousands of Americans shed their blood to defend our freedoms. And Charlie Kirk gave his life for the truth of the Gospel.
Now we must follow in their footsteps by standing unapologetically for Christ and biblical truth—no matter the cost.
I want to leave you with this quote from former U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia:
Have the courage to have your wisdom regarded as stupidity. Be fools for Christ. And have the courage to suffer the contempt of the sophisticated world.
It’s time for you to stand, Christian. Let’s stand together.
