Over the last several decades, dozens of pro-lifers have been prosecuted under the FACE Act, a little known federal law that criminalizes many types of nonviolent protests outside of abortion clinics.

Signed into law by former President Bill Clinton, the FACE Act has one clear goal: To prosecute otherwise peaceful demonstrations and prayer gatherings held by pro-lifers.

Some are facing years in prison for the alleged “crimes” of peacefully praying, singing hymns, and sharing the gospel in front of abortion clinics.

Thankfully, President Trump has pardoned 23 of these peaceful protestors, but that doesn’t stop future administrations for doing the same.

In the First Amendment, our nation’s founders affirmed that freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and freedom of religion are all fundamental rights, ensuring that every citizen can peacefully engage in a free marketplace of ideas.
