You probably know that Idaho is currently facing the most radical abortion ballot initiative in the country: Proposition 1.
But you may not know the progressive activists behind the Idahoans United for Women and Families campaign—or the out-of-state billionaires that are funding this latest attack on our prolife laws.
We learned last week that Idahoans United for Women and Families obtained another $1.7 million dollars overnight—with over $1.25 million coming from liberal out-of-state financiers:
- She and her consulting firm – The Scrap Shop LLC – helped elect several far-left Idaho representatives, all of whom voted against protecting children from both sex-rejecting surgeries and porn in libraries.
- Her consulting firm helped lead the effort to expand Medicaid—costing Idaho taxpayers over $1 billion a year and dumping federal money into our healthcare system
- She helped run the campaign for uber-progressive Boise Mayor Lauren McLean and oversaw the McLean transition team when she assumed office.
While serving as Mayor McLean’s campaign manager, Folwell literally wrote the book on how to turn the City of Boise into a leftist dystopia—and she handed that book to Mayor McLean to use as a “transition manual.”
The transition team, led by Melanie Folwell, provided Mayor McLean with a laundry list of progressive policy goals. Topping the list were free contraception, taxpayer-funded abortion, and no-cost attorney services for illegal immigrants:
These are the people pushing for Idaho to become one of the most abortion-friendly states in the nation—and they want to use our state ballot initiative process to strip away the rights of preborn children.
The bottom line? Voters deserve to know the truth—and we’re going to ensure that the truth sees the light of day.
