Joel is passionate about advancing God’s design in the culture by engaging with civil authorities for the sake of the gospel. A licensed attorney, Joel also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, a Juris Doctor, and is currently completing a Doctorate in Public Policy. Before coming to IFPC, Joel worked in the legal, policy, and educational arenas for over ten years.
Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Joel and his wife Mikaela lived in Maryland for over a decade before moving with their five children to the Boise area. Aside from being a political junkie, Joel enjoys exploring local history, making music, reading stories to his kids, and eating ambrosia salad.
