Did you know that Planned Parenthood is the single largest provider of sexual education in public schools nationwide?

Even more shocking is that some public school systems, like the Los Angeles Unified School District, have given Planned Parenthood special permission to open their ‘clinics’ on high school campuses.

These in-school ‘wellness clinics’ provide contraception, counseling, and abortifacients to young girls, all without parental notification or consent.

Allow me to let you in on a secret: Planned Parenthood has been looking to expand their reach into Idaho high schools for years. But we stopped them in their tracks, making sure that their predatory practices cannot be implemented in our local schools.

Earlier this year, we worked with Sen. Christy Zito (R-Hammett), Rep. Bruce Skaug (R-Nampa), and Rep. Brent Crane (R-Nampa) to defund Planned Parenthood and make sure that abortionists can never open clinics or provide sexual education instruction in Idaho public schools.

The legislation, called the No Public Funds For Abortion Act, was signed by Gov. Brad Little and became law four months ago.

In addition to keeping abortionists out of your child’s classroom, the new law also protects your hard-earned tax dollars by making sure government money isn’t used to provide or promote abortions, except when required by federal law.
