PRAYER ALERT: Will SCOTUS Stop Trans-Insanity for Parental Rights?

PRAYER ALERT: Will SCOTUS Stop Trans-Insanity for Parental Rights?

Here’s a frightening story: Indiana parents, Mary and Jeremy Cox, lost custody of their child for “improper pronoun usage.”

Now they’re asking the U.S. Supreme Court to intervene—and its decision could have a profound impact on everyone’s parental rights.

If you’re unfamiliar with the case, the Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS) initiated an investigation of the Cox household because Jeremy and Mary refused to refer to their son using a name or pronouns inconsistent with his biological sex.

Even after all allegations of neglect and abuse against them were dismissed, the Indiana DCS kept the child in foster care and even placed a gag order that prevented Jeremy and Mary from discussing their Catholic beliefs on sexuality and gender with him. He was never returned to their custody, and sadly aged out of the foster system.

Thankfully, our state partner, Indiana Family Institute, teamed up with the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty to represent the Cox family in court. But much to the shock of everyone involved, Indiana courts upheld the removal of the child from the family, compounding the injustice and heartache.

They’re now escalating the case to the Supreme Court. In a statement to Fox News, Lori Windham, vice president and senior counsel at Becket, said:

“If this can happen in Indiana, it can happen anywhere… Tearing a child away from loving parents because of their religious beliefs, which are shared by millions of Americans, is an outrage to the law, parental rights, and basic human decency. If the Supreme Court doesn’t take this case, how many times will this happen to other families?”

We are asking you to be in prayer for the Cox family, trusting that the U.S. Supreme Court takes action to protect our parental rights by agreeing to hear the case—which could happen as soon as March 15.

We are heartbroken for what the transgender movement has done to this child and his family, but we are hopeful that God will work it together for good.

Will you join us in standing alongside the Cox family in prayer?
