I have exciting news for you: the “Choose Life” Idaho license plate legislation was passed by the Senate last week and is on its way to the House of Representatives.

This legislation, sponsored by Senator Regina Bayer (R-Meridian) and Representative Brent Crane (R-Nampa), would add the “Choose Life” license plate as a new special interest license plate available at the Idaho DMV.

Of each $35 plate registration fee, $22 will be given to local pregnancy resource centers. Pregnancy resource centers compassionately provide care and practical assistance to women with unplanned pregnancies. The wide range of services supplied by these nonprofit centers give women alternatives to abortion and promote a culture of life.
