“Take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand.”
Ephesians 6:13 (CSB)
You’ve probably heard by now that Idaho Family Policy Center is being sued by a North Idaho drag performer for speaking out against sexual exhibitions like drag shows in public places where children are present.
In voicing our opposition, IFPC has been accused of making ‘false statements’ about his performance—but we stand behind the statements we’ve made, and trust that we will be vindicated through this process.
If you know us, then you know we care deeply about protecting families in our state, and we won’t back down when something happening in Idaho is harming our kids.
This is why we need to “resist evil” when it threatens our families. Thankfully, we have not only armor to wear but weapons to wield so we can “take our stand” against these attacks.
The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6 to “prepare everything” for the battle, and this includes the spiritual weaponry in our arsenal—the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit to pray against the “evil of our day.”
We are asking you to raise your shield, draw your sword, and launch your prayers to help us defend biblical truth, dismantle the ideologies that sexualize our children, and defeat the powers of darkness.
Specifically, we are pleading with God to STOP this lawsuit by either changing the hearts of those who are suing us or by changing the circumstances surrounding this case.
We want this lawsuit to be dropped or thrown out NOW—so we can get back to focusing our ministry resources on protecting families and advancing the lordship of Christ in the public square.
Will you please stand with us and pray?
PRAYER REQUESTS
Pray for the repentance and salvation of the drag performer plaintiff and his legal team in this case, that their hearts would soften and change to be receptive to the Gospel.
Pray for the case against us to be dropped or thrown out soon so that we can stop wasting valuable time and resources to defend against it.
Pray for God to protect and preserve the livelihoods of our president and past employees, as well as present and former staff who are being deposed by opposing counsel.
ACTION ITEMS
- Right now, our legal bills are piling up—and we’re currently spending about $10,000 per week on our court costs and attorney fees.
