ALERT: Tell Boise to Remove Illegal Pride Flag

ALERT: Tell Boise to Remove Illegal Pride Flag

You won’t believe this! The City of Boise is refusing to follow a newly enacted state law which prevents municipalities from flying Pride flags.

The new law – which was sponsored by Rep. Heather Scott (R-Blanchard) and Sen. Ben Toews (R-Coeur d’Alene) – went into effect on April 4, 2025.

But despite the law having been in effect for nearly one week, Boise is still flying a Pride flag on its flagpole outside of City Hall.

It’s time for the people of Idaho to stand up and demand that Boise comply with state law. Will you take a minute of your time to send a message insisting that Boise City Council take down their Pride flags?

The City of Boise is known for ignoring state laws with which it disagrees. Just three years ago, Boise City Council adopted a resolution which prevents law enforcement from investigating criminal abortions, effectively making Boise a sanctuary city for abortion.

We can’t let Boise decide which laws it will follow. Our state legislature has already made clear that Pride flags have no place on government flag poles. If Boise won’t follow the law, it must be held accountable—so please send your message now!

  1. The folks in Boise have spoken. It’s time to vote out the “woke” liberal politicians running Boise.

  2. We used to be known for our famous Potatoes. Then we were known for the Aryan Nation and Neo Nazis. Now we will be known, as one of two cities displaying a Pride flag outside of city hall in violation of state law. If there is a petition to remove the city council, save one, I will be more than happy to sign it. You are a disgrace to Idaho!

  3. The purpose of government is to administer justice under the law. The force of the law should be limited, clear and concise. LGBTQIA+ is fraternal. Government should not force its citizens to participate in anything that exceeds the proper limits of the law and justice. This includes religious, fraternal, equalizing, philanthropic, industrial, literary, or artistic because, unlike justice, these things do not have precise limits. Once started, where will you stop? (F. Bastiat). The law becomes subjected to the whims of the elites in power. Marxism is easy to identify and Mayor McClean is using the Marxist playbook.
